The Triax Design OnLine Tool (referred to in this documentation as 'DOL', or 'TRIAX DOL') is an Internet based
Distribution Network Design Tool that can be used for IRS, MATV, CATV and SMATV coaxial (copper) and fibre network designs.

TRIAX DOL is a free Tool that is available to any customer with a need or a wish to do their own distribution planning and documentation based upon TRIAX Products.
TRIAX DOL enables the Installer to plan well ahead of the actual installation, check signal levels, and decide where to do adjustments.
This will save much valuable time during Installation, and make sure the installation will perform as well as expected.

Main Design OnLine Features:

  • Following your inputs, DOL generates a simple schematic diagram using a library of 'drag and drop' Triax product figures
  • Does automatic Calculation of key system signal levels throughout the signal path from the HeadEnd, Aerial or Satellite Dish Signal Sources down to the Users TV Outlet.
  • Provides an indication of valid signal levels using a simple 'traffic light' system
  • Generates a Bill of Material (BOM) and Quotation based on the schematic diagram
  • Allows the user to customise the quotation to meet individual customer requirements
  • Generate, save and print schematic diagrams and Bill of Material in 'PDF' format
  • Can store design plans and quotations for easy access and copying as required
  • The software is automatically updated via the web so You always work on the newest version.
  • All designs created by you are stored in the 'Cloud' for your eyes only. No other Users have access to them
    (but you may assign a Plan to anyone else with a DOL account should you choose to).
    This allows colleuges to share their work.
